First Day at School

I tried the layer upon layer style again! I like it. The background is painted, stamped and misted, with some paint splash. The chevron is a mask from Studio Calico. The alpha is Katie by Quickutz.
The tickets are digital freebies so is the camera.

Layers, layers, layers....

Here I went a bit mad with layering!
When he put this on he said: Look mummy I'm a wolf!
Here I have mixed old papers with digital ephemera  that I have cut out. The number 3 is from an old game. Also I used tissuetape, tiny attacher, bakers twine, Cherry Lynn butterfly.

Scrapbooking med Hjärtat #5

Yet another layout. Here I used a large piece of lace and glimmermisted the hole background. I used two of my own journaling spots lace flower etc, liked the end result!

Scrapbooking med Hjärtat #4

This challenge was a bit tricky for me....you were suppose to create a layout only using pink, at least three shades....I do not have that many pink papers....But I'm glad to say that I really liked how it came out and I won! I used a piece of a Maya road chipboard album that I painted and put a string through the holes, punched out butterflies and sandwich the string inbetween. I used Inca gold on the letters and matted the photo on the chipboard and layered several pink papers underneath. I also used a very old piece of vellum. The large butterfly is a Cherry Lynn die, they are so beautiful. At the top I colored some lace with my Lindy's stamp gang mist.

Scrapbooking med Hjärtat #3

This is from our winter vacation, it's amazing how fast they grow....Here I have made the background using gesso, acrylic paint and stamping.  The journaling spot I have made and printed out and the tickets are from House of three.

Scrapbooking med hjärtat crop #1: mixed media canvas

I attended the crop scrapbooking med Hjärtat the past week-end and I had my real first try at making a mixed media project! I'm really pleased with the result!

I used paints, stamps and stazon, the rolled flowers are glimmer misted. I used a mask and I colored the texture paste with the acrylic paint. The paint that is dripping down from the top is Inca gold that I have watered down so that it became watery.
